The Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts were at home this past weekend for their home opener. The fans have been waiting for a while in anticipation to see the new look Cataracts. INTERVIEW WITH SEAN WADDEN

Q: First off, welcome to the Grand Falls-Windsor cataracts.

A: Thanks is great to be here.

Q: Why did you decide to play for the Cataracts this season?

A: Well it was a tough decision to make, but wehn i learned keith ryan and mikey stevens were alll headed to the cats i decided to join them

Q: What will fans expect to see from the Cataracts this season?

A: I think they willl seee a strong team, we ahve depth in alll aspects of the game.. from our goalie out we are a solid hcokey team.
 
Q: What do you think it will take to win games in this league?

A: It takes more then just skilll to win games in this league. alll the teams in this league are skllled, it comes down to whos willing to consistently workhard and show up every night.

Q: Who is the Best player you have played with so far in your hockey Career and why?

A I would have to say teddy purcell of the Los Angeles Kings. I’ve known Teddy my whole life and had the pleasure to play with him throughout my career. he is one of the most gifted players on the island and he is an incredible playmaker.

Q: At what age did you start playing hockey and what were your memories of it?

A: I’ve been playing my whole life, i think i started minor hockey when i was 4 with the celtics minor system. i loved it from the start, hockey was always my favorite hobby

Q: What teams did you play for in your Junior hockey career?

A: I  played for the Pembroke Lumber Kings in the CJHL, and the Yarmouth Mariners of the MJAHL
